Turning Waves into Resilience

The Product

We are building living reefs that mitigate storm surges and provide wave-powered energy. The captured energy can be deployed in emergency use, helping coastal communities build resilience, protection from floods produced by storm surges, and generate clean energy.

Our Mission

At WaveWise Technologies, our mission is to empower and protect coastal communities through innovative, sustainable solutions that harness the power of the ocean. We are dedicated to creating resilient, eco-friendly technologies that capture wave energy, protect shorelines, and provide clean, reliable power during critical moments. By advancing renewable energy and coastal resillence, we strive to build a safer, more sustainable future for people and ecosystems facing the challenges of a changing climate.

Value Proposition Statement

Move over dumb seawalls, hello FlexiWave HarvesterImagine a seawall that protects communities, while also providing back up power for critical functions like lift stations, traffic lights, or a hospital emergency room. The FlexiWave Harvester provides a sustainable energy solution that simultaneously captures wave energy and protects shorelines via an in water barrier, offering coastal communities an innovative dual-purpose technology. Designed for durability and adaptability, it not only generates renewable power it also mitigates wave impact to preserve shoreline integrity, ensuring resilient and energy-independent coastal areas.

How It Works

The FlexiWave Harvester flexes in response to wave movement, converting kinetic energy into clean, renewable power through advanced energy capture mechanisms also known as DEEC-TEC. Constructed from eco-friendly and resilient materials, it withstands a range of wave intensities and adapts to changing marine conditions, maintaining high efficiency across environments. While generating power, the device also acts as a coastal defense, absorbing wave impact to reduce shoreline erosion, making it ideal for protecting ecosystems and ensuring energy availability for emergency needs.

Use Cases

Government / Military

Erosion Control and Shoreline Protection for Vulnerable Beaches

  • Military installations are building resilience to protect critical assets.
  • Entities like FEMA that are helping communities mitigate damages and save lives by preventing future disasters.
  • The FlexiWave Harvester serves as a natural barrier against intense wave activity, reducing coastal erosion on vulnerable shorelines. By dissipating wave energy before it reaches the shore, it helps prevent shoreline degradation and protects ecosystems. This application is especially beneficial for areas experiencing rising sea levels, allowing coastal communities to maintain natural landscapes and protect vital habitats for animals like the manatee while also generating renewable energy.

Coastal Communities / Private industry

  • Cities that are working to build resilience to threats faced from a changing climate. Protecting roads and businesses from floods and hurricanes.
  • Hotels and resorts need to reduce the risk of disruption and costly damage.
  • During severe weather events or natural disasters, the FlexiWave Harvester provides an invaluable power source for coastal communities. By capturing and storing wave energy, it ensures a continuous supply of renewable electricity that can be deployed to power emergency shelters, medical facilities, and communication systems. This reliable energy source helps sustain critical infrastructure during grid outages, supporting faster recovery and enhancing community resilience in disaster-prone areas.
